Peter Stroud

Peter Stroud has been lead guitarist for Sheryl's band since 1999, touring for The Globe Sessions. He has since recorded with Sheryl for her latest release, C'mon C'mon. The new record also includes a song written together, "Hole In My Pocket."

Peter achieved Yahoo search status as a guitarist with Pete Droge & The Sinners, touring from '95 to '98. With Pete, he recorded three records, Find A Door, Spacey & Shakin and his latest release, Skywatching.

For the year 2000,while Sheryl was off the road, Peter joined Don Henley's band for the Inside Job tour. He has recently recorded with Stevie Nicks (Trouble In Shangrila), Jerry Joseph & The Jack Mormons (Everything Was Beautiful), Elaine Summers (Transplanting, Sparkler) and Shawn Mullins.

Peter was born in Greensboro, North Carolina and has lived in Atlanta, Georgia since the mid '80s. In addition to soaking up the music culture of the South, he notes, "It was the 70's bigger-than-life bands...Zeppelin, The Who, The Stones and Faces, that did it for me...and, of course, AC/DC." His guitar mentors are Jeff Beck and Jimi Hendrix.
