This year’s Winter X Games featured extreme thrills, chills and spills—set against a pulsing sonic backdrop courtesy of M-Audio’s revolutionary Torq DJ technology. By teaming with innovative bikeboard company Slopecycle and ESPN, M-Audio brought dynamic entertainment—and coveted Torq Conectiv giveaways—to scores of X Games attendees.
At the Slopecycle booth, DJs Kiva, CMoney, and Concise drew crowds by spinning their favorite tracks with M-Audio’s Torq Conectiv performance/production system. One lucky attendee even took home his own setup after winning the M-Audio/Slopecycle online text message contest. Over at the ESPN booth, M-Audio equipped another sports fan with the tools to become a top DJ by giving away a prize package including the X-Session Pro controller and Torq Conectiv.
M-Audio and Slopecycle also teamed up with Spy Optic and Glaceau-Smartwater to host a VIP shindig at a private mansion for two nights during the Games. Slopecycle brought in the talents of DJ Kiva, DJ Concise (Divine Elements), and CMoney rockin' Torq Conectiv to make the X Games industry shake it. Pro snowboarder Mark Frank Montoya was also a featured DJ at the bash.
