M-Audio Rocks the NAMM Show

M-Audio Rocks the NAMM Show
From dynamic demos to appearances by Chicago's Jason Scheff, DJ Revolution and many more, the M-Audio booth pulsed with activity
From January 18-21, M-Audio kept the NAMM crowd buzzing with non-stop action. By teaming up with sister Avid companies Digidesign and Sibelius in a brand-new booth, we delivered more products, demos, workstations and artists than ever before. While the Main Stage rotated star-studded product presentations, M-Audio’s Torq Lounge served up a slew of hot DJ performances. A variety of smaller theaters and hands-on workstations allowed attendees to experience the latest technology for themselves. If you couldn’t make it, this report from the show floor is the next best thing.

On the Main Stage

Los Lobos impress the NAMM crowd with their dynamic blend of blues, rockabilly, jazz and Latin-influenced music.

Chicago’s Jason Scheff is joined onstage by Keith Howland (guitarist/singer; Chicago), Loren Gold (keyboardist/musical director; Taylor Hicks, Hilary Duff) plus pop/rock duo Evan and Jaron.

Singer/songwriter Lisa Loeb captivates the crowd with her effervescent personality and beautiful melodies.
Grammy-nominated recording artist/producer Vikter Duplaix performs with Kenneth Crouch (keyboardist/musical director; Lenny Kravitz, Eric Clapton) and Satnam Ramgotra (multi-percussionist; Beck, Sting, Seal).
DJ Revolution—known for holding down the decks on L.A.’s popular radio program, The Wake Up Show—shows off the power of Torq.   Berklee School of Music professor Chris Buono and legendary guitarist Vernon Reid (Living Colour, B.B. King and The Ramones) demo M-Audio’s GuitarBox package.

M-Powered guitarist Peter Stroud (Sheryl Crow, Don Henley) jams with Chris Buono to show off the GuitarBox.   Special guest DJ Raphiki (L.A.’s Power 106) shows off Xponent with M-Audio’s Shawn Parker.
