M-Audio brings the latest techno tools to crowds at Remix Hotel and Digiworld
From October 28-30, M-World descended on San Francisco’s Remix Hotel for three days of technology workshops and clinics for electronic- and urban-music producers, engineers, musicians, and DJs. With the help of special guest artists DJ Irene and DJ Battlekat, M-Audio unveiled the latest innovations in music creation technology. Attendees learned how to go deep inside Propellerhead Reason, the new Reason Drum Kits, and ReWire, as well as revolutionize their music production with Live 4’s new host of features. Interactive workstations allowed guests to experience how M-Audio’s FireWire 1814 interface, Radium61 keyboard controller, and Evolution UC-33e controller facilitate the creation of professional tracks at home and on the go. A guitar workstation revealed how to record a guitar directly into the computer then build up additional tracks in Live 4 quickly and easily. And a special station let attendees remix world-famous DJ Sasha on the spot using Live 4 and M-Audio gear—with the chance to win hardware and software prizes.

M-Audio also put in an appearance at Digiworld, held at Digidesign’s coroporate headquarters in Daly City, CA, on October 30. In the M-Audio Solutions Theater, M-Audio’s Chad Carrier explained complete solutions for any musician at any level, with an overview of M-Audio's comprehensive product line of interfaces, keyboards, microphones, speakers, software and sample libraries. Propellerhead’s James Bernard and Ableton’s Dave Hill also showed guests how to unlock the power Reason and Live.
