The Track Select in DirectLink for GarageBand with Axiom (2nd gen) and Oxygen (3rd gen) will only select Tracks within the highlighted Bank of Tracks.

For example, if you have sixteen Tracks and Tracks 1-8 from the Bank are selected, the Track select Button will only select Tracks 1-8. You cannot select Track 9 to shift the Bank to Tracks 9-16.  To select a different bank of tracks to control, click with your mouse to select a track in a the other bank.  Axiom (2nd gen) users can still use the Bank up/down feature to change banks.
