Avid is working closely with Microsoft to deliver compatible, high-quality versions of Pro Tools®, including compatibility with the 64-bit version, as soon as possible. Please check back periodically for updates on Avid's Windows 7 support status.

Below is the current state of Windows 7 driver development for M-Audio products:

 
Public Beta drivers are available to registered forum users in the Public Beta Section towards the bottom of the Official M-Audio User Forums.  Click here to register and create an account.  Immediately after registering you should receive a confirmation e-mail with a link to activate your account.  If you do not receive this e-mail within 10 minutes of registering, please contact us and we can manually activate your account so you can download the Public Beta Drivers.

All drivers will install on Windows 7 32-bit & 64-bit.  Please note that Pro Tools M-Powered and Torq are not qualified for use with Windows 7 at this time.

*The following class compliant (plug & play) devices can be used without installing any drivers under Windows 7 32-bit & 64-bit.

Connect your device and Windows will install the drivers automatically.  If prompted to search for drivers, browse your computer and choose to search your main system drive (usually C:\) to find the drivers.
