An Overview of M-Audio Software Authorization/Activation Procedures:
Ableton Live Lite
Authorizing Ableton Live Lite is known as “unlocking”. To unlock Live Lite, you can enter your serial number in the unlock dialog that pops up when you first launch the software, or via the unlock page at www.ableton.com.
Ableton Customer Support can assist you with license, user account, upgrade, and activation issues.
iZotope Products
iZotope Product authorization can be accessed here.
GForce/GMedia Virtual Instruments
GForce/GMedia software synths can be activated at the GForce website. Users should create a login with GForce, then access the “My Software” portion of the site to register their product serial number.
Way Out Ware Virtual Instruments
Way Out Ware’s TimewARP 2600 and KikAxxe have a multiple options for authorization, including an option for iLok smart key owners, and both online and offline options for those who want to store their authorization file on their hard disk.
Complete details on authorization are available in the included product quick start guide (boxed version) or via the authorization dialog that activates when you install and launch the software in standalone mode.
Wizoo Effects Plugins and Virtual Instruments

Pro Tools M-Powered
To launch Pro Tools M-Powered, you must have a supported M-Audio audio interface installed on your system. You must also have an authorized iLok smart-key connected to your system*. A pre-authorized iLok is included with your copy of Pro Tools M-Powered. More details are available in your Pro Tools quick start guide.
*ProTools Ozone Academic Kit and ProTools Mobile Pre Academic Kit do not require an iLok smart-key for product authorization.
M-Audio Key Rig and Drum and Bass Rig

M-Audio Session
Session requires that a supported M-Audio interface be connected to your computer, or the product will not launch.
M-Audio Torq and Torq LE (MixLab)
Torq requires that a Torq Conectiv or Torq Xponent be connected to your computer, or the product will not launch. Torq LE (MixLab) requires that an X-Session Pro be connected to your computer, or the product will not launch.
Torq 1.5 requires a serial number for Authoirzation. Your serial number is on a printed card (in boxed versions of Torq) or was sent to you electronically (for on-line upgrades). If you have not purchased a serial number, click the "Buy" button and Torq will point your default web browser to the M-Audio Webstore. Type your serial number into the dialog box and click OK. Torq is now unlocked and ready to use.
