Pro Tools I/O setup does not match hardware setup
Text size [-] [+]

Q: I have my digital port set for ADAT in the M-Audio FireWire control panel, yet I can't select all of the ADAT inputs for recording in Pro Tools M-Powered.

A: Pro Tools does not automatically update its I/O setup to correspond with changes in active ports, however, this is easily remedied by going to the Setup Menu in Pro Tools M-Powered and selecting i/o..., selecting the Input Tab and clicking the "Default" button.

Pro Tools allows you to create and use customized I/O setups for each session in Pro Tools to match your hardware configurations.  Please see this article for Customizing the I/O Setup in Pro Tools M-Powered.
