Performance issues in Torq 2.0 with computer's built-in sound card Pops, clicks, skips, crackles, dropouts, distortion
Text size [-] [+]

When using Torq 2.0 with the built-in sound card on my computer, I am experiencing performance issues and audio interference such as pops, clicks, skips, crackles, dropouts, or distortion.

The built-in sound cards on most computers do not have drivers capabale of handing the real-time performance demands of an audio application such as Torq.  If you are experiencing performance issues, open Torq's Preferences, and on the Audio Tab, increase the HW Buffer Size.  Continue to increase the buffer size until performance improves.

A professional audio interface with native ASIO (PC) or CoreAudio (Mac) drivers is recommended for use with Torq.
