MIDI Input with Active Sensing causes Signal LEDs to light up randomly
Text size [-] [+]

Q: When my MIDI keyboard/controller is connected to the MIDI input of my ProFire 2626 or ProFire 610, the signal LEDs light up at random.

A: When a MIDI device that outputs active sensing data is connected to the ProFire 2626 or ProFire 610 MIDI input, the mic pre signal LEDs will light up randomly (usually 1 about every 30-45 seconds); usually one channel at a time.  The signal spikes are sometimes present in the ProFire control panel mixer, but are never recorded in the audio.
