In Torq, when playing under absolute control, placing the needle back at the beginning of the vinyl and then fast forward cueing into the timecode to regain control can result in the song continuing to play from the pre-needle lift location at a high rate of speed for up to several seconds. The position of the timecode won't catch again until the speed of the vinyl has been slowed, which can cause the beginning of the song to be skipped. Additional audio artifacts may be heard during this momentary lapse in control. In such an event, back cue to locate the beginning of the song.
