When Venom's Global 'MIDI OUT' parameter is set to 'KEY', Venom will no longer respond to any messages from the Vyzex editor.

You should check to see that you have not accidentally set ‘MIDI OUT’ to ‘KEY’ while exploring the instrument's global settings:

Ensure 'MIDI Out = USB' by pressing the 'Edit' button and then press the second G# note on Venom's keyboard once (or twice) until the LCD reads:

Venom’s USB port will then resume communications with any software connected via USB. You can now launch the Vyzex software and it will successfully AutoSense Venom and begin an editing session.
