If you have updated Session and installed the latest drivers for Producer USB, and you are receiving errors when selecting an audio driver in Session, or if you can't get Session to launch at all, please review the following information.

If the Sample Rate in the Producer USB control panel is set for 48kHz, you may receive one of the following errors:
 

• Session cannot open the selected ASIO driver.
• Session has encountered an error and will now close.
• Application encountered problems during startup and will now close.

If you are receiving any of the above error messages, make sure that the Sample Rate in the Producer USB Control Panel is set to 44.1 before launching Session.

Right-click the M-Audio icon in the System Tray to launch the M-Audio Producer USB control panel.



The M-Audio Producer USB control panel can also be accessed from the Windows Control Panel.



Select the "Sample Rate" tab and select the radio button next to 44.1.



Click the X to close the Producer USB Control Panel, and then launch Session.
