Although the M-Audio Venom can function as a class-compliant audio device in Windows,  Venom will not function as a class-compliant audio device in Sonar.  To use Venom as an audio device in Sonar, install the latest Venom driver from the drivers/updates page, and configure Sonar to use the M-Audio Venom ASIO driver.
