Q: I hear a high pitched buzz/noise whenever my Torq Control CD/Vinyl is playing.
A: Make sure the big "Mix" knob on the Conectiv is set all the way to USB, and make sure the Line Input is NOT enabled in Torq. If the big Mix knob is turned towards Input, or if the Line input in Torq is enabled, the high pitch whine you are hearing is the control data on the CD/Vinyl.
If you hear a constant low pitched hum/buzz, this may be caused by a ground loop. We have a separate article for ground loop troubleshooting. If you are using Torq Control Vinyl, make sure the ground wire for your turntable is properly connected.
