Songs from iTunes no longer appear in Torq after moving iTunes Library
Text size [-] [+]

To display songs from iTunes, Torq looks to the iTunes Library XML file.  This database file normally resides in a default location on the system drive. In the event that the location of this file needs to be changed, it is important that a new iTunes Library XML file is created in the correct destination. For example,  If it is important that the iTunes Library XML file remain with the files (on an external drive for example), a new iTunes Library XML file should be created on the external drive. The library can then be rebuilt accordingly.  Please refer to the iTunes documentation on how to create a new XML library.
