Q: In Pro Tools M-Powered 7.3, I cannot open User Guides from the Help menu because they are greyed out.  Is there something wrong with my installation?

A: This is a known issue with Pro Tools 7.3/7.3.1 on Windows XP.

The docs are installed and can still be accessed from Start > Programs > Digidesign > Documentation


Note: If you have installed the Pro Tools M-Powered 7.3 application from the 7.3 upgrade web installer, the "Pro Tools 7.3 Documentation for Host-based Systems" applications below will install all of the version 7.3 documentation in your Digidesign/Documentation folder.

Please Note: the documentation installer will replace previous versions of the same documents with the 7.3 versions. If you are not on Pro Tools 7.3, you may not wish to replace your current documentation.

These documents are also available for individual download from the following Tech Docs pages for users that do not have Pro Tools 7.3 installed, or need additional documentation that may not be included in the installers:
