If you are using the USB cable, the input driver in the devices section of your software should correspond to your USB MIDI device, such as "USB Axiom 25 in 1". If no driver names corresponding to your MIDI keyboard appear in the Input column, you need to make sure the keyboard's drivers are correctly installed.
Also note that all Series II MIDI devices are class compliant. For this reason, the drivers are not necessary for Windows XP or Windows Vista (32 bit). If you are using the Windows XP native drivers, you may see the keyboard classed as 'USB Audio Device' instead of with its device name.
Only if you are running more than one such USB MIDI device or want to interface with more than one MIDI software application at a time will you need to install the multi-client USB MIDI drivers.
When re-installing drivers it is always worth checking the website to make sure you have the latest version.
