Q: How can I setup the Axiom, Axiom 2nd gen, or Axiom Pro to play different instruments with the keys and pads?

A: All factory default presets (except 5 and 13 on Axiom, 15 on Axiom 2nd gen, and 19 on Axiom Pro) are already configured with the keys and pads transmitting on different MIDI channels.  The keys default to transmitting on MIDI Channel 1, and the pads on Channel 10.  In order to play different instruments, you need to setup different instruments in your software (or hardware) so that each intrument only responds to MIDI Channels 1 and 10 respectively.  Please refer to your software's user guide or contact their technical support for assistance configuring the software.
