Q: I am using my Axiom (2nd gen) keyboard with DirectLink in Cubase; when I hold Shift and press the Mute button to engage Solo on the selected track, all other tracks do not mute as they should.  How do I get this to function properly?

A: In Cubase, go to the Devices Menu and select Device Setup.  Select the M-Audio Axiom DirectLink under Remote Devices.  Click the drop-down menu for Smart Switch Delay and change it from Short to Long.  Click Apply and OK.  Now engaginge Solo via Shift+Mute should function as expected.
