M-Audio Keyboard option in Pro Tools MIDI controllers only supports DirectLink & HyperControl

Q: In Pro Tools, under Setup > Peripherals > MIDI Controllers Tab, there is a choise for "M-Audio Keyboard" as a type.  Will this work for any M-Audio keyboard?

A: No, the M-Audio Keyboard selection is for the supported keyboard/control surfaces listed below:

  • Axiom Pro HyperControl
  • Axiom (2nd gen) DirectLink
  • Oxygen (blue) DirectLink
