Using the "Master Tempo" / "Key Lock" feature on CD Players
Text size [-] [+]

Q: My CD player has a  "Master Tempo" feature (also called "Key Lock", "Key Adjust", "Key Orig", or "Pitch Lock" by different manufacturers) that allows me to change the speed of the song without affecting the pitch; Can I use this feature while using the Torq Control CD's?

A: The Master Tempo / Key Lock on the CD player alters the control signal used by Torq.  Because of this, turning on the key lock feature will result in Torq's external control system not working properly.  If you would like to adjust the tempo independently of the pitch you will find that Torq has implemented this within the software.  Please refer to the Torq User Guide, and the free tutorial videos on Speed & Key.
