If you have a pair of Studiophile Q40 headphones, or IE 10, IE 20XB, IE 30, or IE 40 earphones, and your 1/8" cable is defective, we will cover this during the normal warranty period and send you a replacement cable at no charge.  Please contact tech support for hardware RMA's.
