This document covers procedures regarding the software of installation of Torq 2.0.3 for users that have had previous versions of Torq installed.

General Recommendation to all users
Users are encouraged to create a System Restore Point, Time Machine Backup, or the equivelant prior to installing new software or updates in case any unexpected results are encountered. Users updating from Torq 1.x are also encouraged to create a backup of their music library and .tqd files prior to updating.
For users that have Torq 2.0 - Torq 2.0.2, or the Torq 2.0 Preview installed:
Installing Torq 2.0.3 will update previous versions of Torq 2.0.x or the Torq 2.0 Preview to Torq 2.0.3. Torq Preview users note that custom MIDI assignments will be overwritten, so before updating, go to Torq's Preferences and click the MIDI Assignments button at the bottom. Click to Export your settings and save them to your desktop. After updating Torq, go back and Import the saved settings.
It is NOT necessary to uninstall previous versions of Torq 2.0.x or the Torq 2.0 Preview
It is NOT necessary to deactive Torq 2.0 - Torq 2.0.2
It is NOT necessary to delete any preferences files
It is NOT necessary to re-analyze music files
Note that during your Torq 2.0.3 installation you may be prompted to install one or more supporting components. If prompted, please allow or continue the installation as they are required for successful operation.
Torq 2.0 Preview users will be able to Activate Torq 2.0.3 as a 30-day Trial.
