Q: I am using Torq and Conectiv with my external DJ mixer and my output is very loud and distorted.

A: Make sure the outputs of the Conectiv are connected to Line inputs on your DJ mixer.  The phono inputs have a preamp to bring a turntable up to line level.  Running the output of the Conectiv (which is at line level) into a phono preamp will result in loud, distorted audio.
