Note: If you already have Torq 1.5.x or the Torq 2.0 Preview installed on your system, you do not need to uninstall it before installing Torq 2.0.  The final final release of Torq updates the Preivew, and can be installed at the same time as Torq 1.5.x!

Torq 2.0 Software Installation & Activation

Note: If you already have Torq 1.5.x, Torq 2.0 - 2.0.2, or the Torq 2.0 Preview installed on your system, you do not need to uninstall it before installing Torq 2.0.3.  The Torq 2.0.3 installer will update existing installations of Torq 2.0 and the Torq 2 Preview, and can be installed at the same time as Torq 1.5.x!

Torq 2.0.3 Now Available

Torq 2.0 customers can download Torq 2.0.3 by logging into your Avid account.  Go to the "Your Products" page.  At the bottom in the Downloads section will be links to download Torq 2.0.3.

    Windows 7 32/64 (recommended), Windows XP* (SP3), or Vista 32/64 (SP2)
    Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0 GHz
    2 GB RAM
    1280 x 800 or 1366 x 768 screen resolution
    500 MB** available hard drive space
    Multi-channel audio interface recommended

* Home and Professional only, Windows XP Media Center Edition, and Windows XP-64-bit are not supported
** Total hard drive space requirements depend on the size of your music library

Mac

    Mac OS X 10.5.8, or Mac OS X 10.6.5 (10.6 recommended)
    Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0 GHz
    2 GB RAM
    1280 x 800 screen resolution
    500 MB* available hard drive space
    Multi-channel audio interface recommended

* Total hard drive space requirements depend on the size of your music library.  Torq 2.0 will not install on systems running Mac OS 10.6.0-10.6.4

The current version is 2.0.3; you can check this version number in the About window in Torq by clicking the "?" in the top right corner.

The latest supported operating systems for Torq 2.0.3 are:

    Windows 7 Home Premium, Professional, or Ultimate with Service Pack 1 (32 & 64-bit)
    Windows Vista SP2 (32 & 64-bit)
    Windows XP Home & Professional SP3 (32-bit)
    Mac OS X 10.7.2
    Mac OS X 10.6.7
    Mac OS X 10.5.8

Note: Windows XP Media Center Edition and Windows XP-64-bit are not supported.
