Q: Are Key Rig and Drum and Bass Rig compatible with Apple’s Intel-based computers?

A: At this time only Key Rig is compatible with Apple's new Intel-based computers (Core Duo, Core 2 Duo, etc).  Drum and Bass Rig is only compatible with Apple computers based on Power PC architecture (G4, G5, etc).

To update Key Rig for Mac Intel compatibility, first install Key Rig from the CD, copy the Key Rig Data folder to the hard drive, and run the file "Set Key Rig Data Location".  Then download and install the Key Rig Updater*.  When complete, Key Rig will be updated and compatible with your Intel based Mac.  After installing the updater it is not necessary to authorize Key Rig.

* The Key Rig Updater will only update the boxed version of Key Rig.  If you are running a version of Key Rig that was bundled with an M-Audio KeyRig 25 or KeyRig 49 keyboard, please contact M-Audio Tech Support for an updated Key Rig installation disc.
