HyperControl for the Axiom Pro keyboards is compatible with Propellerhead Reason 4.x, 5.0.1, and 6, as well as Record 1.0.1 and 1.5.1.  Follow the steps below to install the Axiom Pro Reason HyperControl personality for Reason 4 and Record 1.0.1, and then continue to configure the Axiom Pro Keyboard as a control surface in Reason and Record.

HyperControl is built-in to Reason 5 & 6, as well as Record 1.5, no additional files need to be installed.  Skip the installation section and see the section below to configure the Axiom Pro Keyboard as a control surface in Reason and Record.

Installing the HyperControl Personality - Reason 4 & Record 1.0.1

1. Download Axiom Pro HyperControl for Reason* Installer for your operating system from our drivers/updates page at www.m-audio.com/drivers
2. Double-click to run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions

* Note: Please download the Reason HyperControl personality files for use with Record 1.0.1

HyperControl Configuration for Reason/Record

1. Launch Reason or Record
2. Go to the Reason or Record Menu (Mac), or the Edit Menu (PC) and choose Preferences
3. Select the Keyboards and Control Surfaces Page
   
   
    
4. Click “Auto-Detect Surfaces” and Reason/Record will configure your device automatically
   
   

Close the preferences window and your Axiom Pro keyboard will be in HyperControl mode and ready to control Reason or Record.  Whenever Reason or Record is launched, HyperControl will activate automatically and map Axiom Pro Controls.  For further information on using HyperControl to control Reason or Record with your Axiom Pro keyboard, please refer to the Axiom Pro HyperControl for Reason* user guide available at www.m-audio.com/manuals.
