Buzzing tone instead of instrument sounds

Q: I just installed Key Rig and I’m hearing a buzzing (sawtooth) tone when I press a key on my keyboard. What is causing this?
A: Key Rig will not produce proper instrument sounds until the software has been authorized. All Key Rig users are recommended to download and install the Key Rig updater. Once updated, Key Rig will not need to be authorized and you will be able to play the instruments in Key Rig.
