January 18, 2010 - Pro Tools M-Powered Essential 8.03

Pro Tools M-Powered Essential 8.0.3 is a free update for all Pro Tools 8.0.2 M-Powered Essential owners.  Pro Tools M-Powered Essential 8.0.3 is currently supported on the following operating system versions:

  • Windows XP* (Home or Professional, 32-bit) with XP Service Pack 2 or 3
  • Windows Vista (32 and 64-bit) with Vista Service Pack 2
  • Windows 7 (32 and 64-bit) including Service Pack 1
  • Mac OS X 10.6.1 – 10.6.7 (Snow Leopard)
  • Mac OS X 10.5.5 – 10.5.8 (Leopard)

* Windows XP Media Center Edition is not supported

Please check the version on your Pro Tools M-Powered Essential DVD.  The version appears towards the top right, just below the word Essential.  If your DVD is version 8.0.3, you do not need to download this update.  If your DVD version is 8.02, follow the links below.  Please read the Installation Instructions!  The download links are at the bottom of the page.


Note: The Fast Track USB driver on the Pro Tools M-Powered Essential 8.0.2 DVD will not install on Windows 7.  Click here to download an updated driver.
