Torq 2.0 Software Installation Instructions for Windows
If you are upgrading from a previous version of Torq (e.g. Torq 1.5), it is NOT necessary to uninstall the older version. Torq 2.0 can co-exist with previous versions of Torq. If you are installing Torq 2.0 from a disc, click here for an updated version. It is only necessary to install the latest version.
To install Torq on Windows:
1. Place the Torq disc in your CD/DVD drive.
2. Windows will automatically launch the install screen. (If you are using Windows 7/Vista and see an Autoplay dialog window, click “Run autorun.exe” to launch the installer.) If the install screen fails to launch, you can manually start it by clicking on Start > Computer* > Torq CD.
* If you are using Windows XP “Computer” will be labeled “My Computer” in this step.
If you are installing Torq as a download locate the installer and launch it by double clicking the icon.
3. Select the language for the installation and click “Next.”
4. Click “Next” on the Welcome screen.
5. Review the license agreement, then put the radio button next to "I accept the terms of the license agreement", and then click "Next" to continue.

6. Click “Next.”
7. Place a check in the box to create a Desktop icon for Torq 2.0 and then click “Next.”
8. Click “Install.”
9. Click “Finish.”
Note that during Torq 2.0.x installation you may be prompted to install one or more supporting components. If prompted, please allow or continue the installation as they are required for successful operation.
Once Torq is isstalled, double-click the Torq application icon to launch the program.
