M-Audio Brings Out the Big Guns at PALME India
India’s former “offshoot show” has become serious business and entertainment
From June 5-7, representatives of the burgeoning Indian audio and film industry descended on Mumbai’s Bombay Exhibition Center for PALME India. Once a tiny branch of the PALME family of shows, the surging Indian economy has caused this show to grow exponentially the past few years, and M-Audio was proud to be a part of the exhibition and action.

It was a major event for the company, who, in cooperation with local distributor Aditya Infotech, put on quite an elaborate gathering of dealers—along with an array of showcases and hands-on product demonstrations. Director of International Sales Chris Adams even jumped in on the action, joining special guest guitarist Abilash from Soul Fusion in a live performance to help demonstrate the intuitiveness of Pro Tools M-Powered™ software.

New products were at the forefront of the activity, as M-Audio showcased the powerful new Studiophile® BX5a Deluxe and BX8a Deluxe bi-amplified studio reference monitors. Keyboard lovers got to run their fingers over the new ProKeys Sono 61 and 88 digital pianos, while studio enthusiasts experienced the new ProFire™ 2626, Fast Track® Ultra and Fast Track® Ultra 8R audio interfaces.

On the last day, M-Powered artist Tauseef Akhtar and Cheryl from Soul Fusion gave a rocking sendoff for an amazing and very responsive industry crowd. And amazingly enough, next year’s show promises to be even bigger and better.
